BCF2000 Buttons

Hey guys,

Got my BCF2000 working really nicely with freestyler!

What I need it to do though, is send the signal "127" on each button press, instead of "127" then "0" and then "127" again.

The reason why I want this is because for "toggle favourite" and "toggle blackout" I find myself having to 'double click' the button every time I want to toggle on and then off. So for example *press button twice* blackout is active, *press button twice*, blackout is inactive.

Highly annoying! Can anyone help?

Regards,
Andrew

i think you have a problem in your set up...

Mine BCF is working as it should:
one click --> blackout enabled
two click --> blackout disabled

the trigger value is set to 127 in the freestyler.ini file, så the BCF should alwayes send the 127 value every time it is pressed, and 0 otherwise

I have downloaded the BCF configuration file for Freestyler into the BCF, maybe that's why it works.. have you downloaded this file to your BCF?

You more than likely have your BCf button set as toggle.
Il look tomorrow in how to set your buttons to the correct mode

The problem is that your BCF comes 'out of the box' setup with 'toggle on' for all the buttons.

Have a look here and it may sort your problem....

try to test it by assigning a midi button to an override button in FS..

i dont know if the LED is working for the sequences,, but I know it work for the override buttons. if your LED is lighting when the override button is activated, then it is FS which is not activating the LED when a midi button is assigned to sequences. if the LED is not lighting your BCF is not configured correctly

This is correct. FS only sends back midi data on some of the features like as LJK said 'overide buttons' or blackout, freeze etc.

I would guess that as for running sequencies fs sees it as a command and not a state, if that makes sense.

Midi notes i know from own experience works with the LED:

* Override buttons
* Run submaster
* submaster pages
* MIDI pages
* fixture groups
* select all/even/odd fixtures
* freeze
* blackout
* absolute/relative movements
* open control windows

And many others I cant remember. I looking forward to hear if the sequences also sends back MIDI data to the interface.

Hi,
Sends the CueList Button Midi Data Back to the BCF?
Or is this feature in development?
